Welcome to Old City Tours. By booking a service or browsing our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities as a guest, and our commitments to delivering safe, reliable, and quality travel experiences.
1. Booking Policy
All bookings made through Old City Tours (via website, email, WhatsApp, or authorized agents) are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed once full payment or the specified deposit is received and a confirmation email is sent.
- Group tours can be booked up to 12 hours before departure, subject to availability.
- Private tours or holiday packages require advance booking and may include non-refundable components (e.g., hotel or event tickets).
2. Pricing & Payments
All prices listed on our website are in USD and include VAT (if applicable), unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
- Payments can be made online, via bank transfer, or in cash (as agreed).
- A deposit or full prepayment may be required depending on the tour type.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
Group Tours:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.
- No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure or for no-shows.
Private Tours & Holiday Packages:
- Cancellation up to 5 days in advance: full refund.
- Cancellation 2–4 days in advance: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 48 hours: no refund.
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Great Tour Guarantee
If you’re not satisfied with your tour experience, we’re here to make it right.
Old City Tours may offer a partial or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue. While some cases may qualify for a 100% refund, most situations are reviewed individually and may result in a fair compensation amount based on what happened.
To be eligible:
- You must notify us within 24 hours after the tour ends
- A brief explanation of what went wrong is required
- Supporting materials (photos, messages, etc.) are helpful but not mandatory
- The guarantee applies only to tours booked directly through our website or sales team
We aim to resolve all refund requests within 5–7 business days.
5. Changes by Old City Tours
In rare cases, we may need to make changes to itineraries, schedules, or inclusions due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, road closures, safety concerns, etc.).
- If a minor change is made (e.g., reverse itinerary order), no refund is issued.
- For major changes, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternatives or a refund if the new arrangement is not acceptable.
6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for:
- Arriving on time at the designated meeting/pickup point.
- Carrying valid ID or visa (where required).
- Acting respectfully toward guides, fellow travelers, and local communities.
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or dangerous.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Old City Tours is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
- Injuries or illnesses not caused by our negligence
- Force majeure events (weather, strikes, natural disasters, etc.)
Participation in all tours is at your own risk. You are encouraged to have personal travel insurance.
8. Third-Party Services
Some experiences (e.g., museum entries, hotel stays) may involve third-party providers. While we strive to work with reputable partners, we are not responsible for services delivered by external vendors.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
We value your privacy. Personal data is collected solely for booking, communication, and legal compliance. We never sell or misuse customer data.

10. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any disputes arising shall be resolved through negotiation or brought before the relevant courts in Baku, Azerbaijan.
